About Me

I am a Clinical Psychologist based in Norfolk in the UK. I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) (registration number PYL32469).

After more than 15 years working in NHS and private mental health services, I decided to establish a private practice so that I could offer a more personalised, flexible and dedicated service to the people I work with.

I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of East Anglia (UEA) between 2012 and 2015. Before this, I gained a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Loughborough University, graduating in 2006, followed by an MSc in Applied Forensic Psychology at the University of Leicester, graduating in 2009.

Since qualifying as a Clinical Psychologist, I have completed additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology, and Neuroscience (IoPPN) at King’s College London and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) through EMDR Academy UK.

About My Practice

Every person brings their own experiences and goals to therapy. Rather than applying the same approach to everyone, I tailor my approach to individual needs and preferences. Together, we'll develop an understanding of what's been happening for you and identify the most helpful way forward. I draw on evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).

I offer appointments both in person in Norfolk and online. You can find further information about each option on the relevant pages. Please feel free to contact me if you'd like to discuss which format might best suit your needs.

I offer an affirmative and inclusive approach for people who identify as LGBTQ+ and/or neurodivergent. I recognise that some people may face unique experiences, barriers or challenges related to identity, relationships or the environments in which they live and work. My aim is to provide a safe, respectful and non-judgemental space where these experiences can be explored openly, without assumptions or judgment.

I receive regular, accredited supervision to ensure that I am providing safe and effective practice. I also attend regular training events and conferences to ensure that my clinical skills are up-to-date and that I am working alongside developments in the field. This helps ensure that the care I provide remains safe, ethical, evidence-based and informed by current best practice.
